i don't necessarily like it but if the Lord washed Judas' feet, then Osama's would be no problem

True, Judas betrayed Jesus...but first, he was a disciple. Have I missed any accounts in scripture of his having washed the feet of anyone other than his disciples?

On the other hand, he might--*might*--take Osama to lunch. Or chew him out, as he did the "vipers" and hypocrits of his day.

Truth is, I don't know what Jesus would do with Osama, other than love him. And that, I have trouble doing. A lot of trouble.

I think if it was up to Osama, he'd be washing Whitney Houston's feet. That would be a good picture too.

I like it because I think this picture is true to Jesus style while he was on earth the first time--showing love to sinners. Can you imagine what kind of guilt would be going through Osama's mind if he were to realize the weight of Jesus' action? Jesus, who is pure and blameless and good humbles himself and serves he who is evil, and vile and deserving of death.

If Osama were to humble himself and take hold of this truth, that God would love and redeem such a vile man as himself, then he will be saved. If not; then he has chosen his destiny and there is nothing but judgment. Jesus will come again with a sword.
