The site looks good. The flash pictures are great.
I wish I knew how to make that happen for announcements on our church website. We are learning as we go on a website someone else designed.

A couple of things:
1. I really like the top horizontal menu, with the dhtml rollover submenus.
2. Sometimes, the rotating pictures in the header is a bit distracting. I would almost rather see them fade in and out at a slower rate. That said, the images you've put up clearly show what your mission is and what you're trying to accomplish.
3. Side menu: Not enough contrast between the letters and the background. Try a different background color, or just try #ffffff for your lettering color and see how that works.
All in all, a great job! I think this design will serve your needs for quite some time. Keep up the good work.
that's great feedback, rick. i'm for sure going to implement the white letters. the fading in and out... that might have to wait since it took me about two weeks to figure out what i got now. i think i just need to apply an "action" to the pictures, but i'm not sure. any thoughts?
