Feels Final

We now have California plates and licenses. This feels so final.

Things constantly feel weird for us here. We've moved a few times, but a bunch of planning went into every move we've ever made. But this move, the way it's all happened has been incredibly disorienting. I know I beat this drum alot. But I constantly feel off balance.

But we're starting to get more involved with CC Eureka. In addition to the ministry that takes place with my new position at Shepherd's Staff, we're also plugging into outreach around town that our new church participates in. This Thursday, I'll be speaking down at a homeless shelter. I'll be giving my testimony before dinner is served to these guys. Pray for me if you think about it.

Can we make a fun guessing game out of the mixelated picture and guess what your plate number is?

Blessings on you as you prepare and then give your testimony to the folks at the homeless shelter.

I just remembered...this is the month, is it not, when the court will decide about your adoption of Ali? Am I remembering correctly? I'll put a request on my site for prayer about that; is there a court date, or anything, that you want to give me, or should I just keep it simple?

This is not when the adoption is final. In fact, we are just getting going. It will be several months before things are final, but we are definitely in the process :)

So keep praying that it continues to go smoothly. I really feel like everyone involved are definitely our advocates...

Welcome back to California! I am currently in Port St Lucie, Florida visiting my daughter. I can't help but think of you everytime I see "Jupiter" on a map or road sign. I still check in on Ali's progress whenever possible. It is His plan to give us a future and a hope.

Blessings,

Welcome to the West Coast, officially. Nothing like getting those Cali plates to make you feel like you're at home. :-)
