Goodbye, Mic-key

I can hear the charming and beautiful Susan downstairs singing "Celebration" by the Commodores alternating choruses with her impression of William Wallace in Braveheart shouting "Freedom!"

She's so cute.

Allie had her Mic-key button pulled today. She hasn't been using it, so technically, it's not a huge deal. But this is a huge symbolic step forward for us. It's a definite milestone. It's a declaration that Allie is moving forward. With every step, she demonstrates independence.

We're stoked.

Definitely a moment worthy of celebration!! Another stone of remembrance for your Gilgal. Look what the Lord has done!! I know you haven't used it for sometime, but I would think Allie would be more comfortable without it. Plus, this will help when she becomes more mobile (rolling & crawling),yes?

Just read about the Mic-Key. I'm not familiar with other g-tubes, but I'm glad Allie had the one that's least troublesome. But I'm even gladder that it's out!

I really love hearing about each new step in the direction of a more normal life for Allie. Praise God for all that He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in Allie!
